Brilliant day’s fun. Climbing and Archery were superb. The kids loved the Mud Slide and Kayaking was great fun.

We spent a few days camping with our girls. The activities were amazing. Girls enjoyed all the land and water activities. The instructors were great with the girls, making the experience a delight.

Camped for 2 days at the centre and it has been a wonderful experience. The activities were well planned and age appropriate. We have kids aged from 7 – 16 years and everyone got enjoyment from them. The instructors were a joy to work with and the kids all enjoyed spending time with them the kitchen facilities are great as were the toilet and shower facilities.

Thank you Tommy and all your friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend glamping.
The facilities are great and making our fire in the firepit to cook on and roast marshmallows was a great experience.
The highlight was the activities on Saturday hosted by Marcial. He made it so much fun for everyone and personalised the activities to each one’s ability. It was also great value!
The bell tent was comfortable and welcoming. We will definitely be back again.

We stayed here from Thursday until today. First time camping in a tent with our 2 kids. Despite 2 rainy days it was a great experience. We went to Lough Key Forest Park, Dromod Forest and Rooskey Heritage Festival.
Thanks for the kitchen and lovely living room. Next time we’ll do Kayaking!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay - myself and my 2 kids aged 9 & 10. The kids really enjoyed their stay. They attended the summer camp and also did all the water activities.
Staff are great – very friendly and helpful. Our hosts were fantastic and really made us feel welcome. Looking forward to visiting again.

We cannot recommend Shannon River Adventure highly enough - fabulous location, well thought out and planned centre, excellent facilities - kitchen, common room and very hot showers. Enthusiastic and accommodating staff - we all had a brilliant time!

A Fantastic Weekend had by All girl guides and Leaders.. We camped here fur the weekend an loved every minute of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Good weekend or even a Day of Activity for a Group.. Definitely worth a Visit.. Stayed two nights in a bell tent (2 adults and 3 kids). We all had a ball. The tent was lovely, beautifully laid out inside!
We also enjoyed the campers kitchen experience.

Spent a night camping here with the kids, was last minute decision to go, but well worth it. Tommy, the manager was very accommodating. Myself and the kids arrived early evening, set up our tent, got our pit fire going and had a great relaxed evening. There is a camp kitchen, fully kitted out, so making something to eat wasn't a hassle. Hot running water for the showers, great. They also offer a glamping experience in Bell tents. Being an adventure centre, they offered a good variety of activities, kayaking, climbing wall, and archery to name a few. We opted for a few hours on the Lough in canoes, was awesome. Up until recently camping at the centre had been for groups such as scouts, girl guides, TY's etc. But they are giving it a go to people looking for an activity holiday, few days away, or just camping. Well worth a visit, just get away from it all. My kids were age, 16, 14 and 8 and loved it. Roosky village is just a 5 minute drive away, the river Shannon flows through here, and there always seems to be a buzz of activity along the water. There also seems to be good fishing in the area, I did notice a couple of tackle and bait shops in the area. I can't wait to get back, loved it.
